Pocket Converter (Velcro to Zipper)
This is an insert that we made for our chest rigs so we could change out a hook & loop pocket to be a zipper pocket without permanent modification. This insert will also work on any pocket that has a hook & loop closure. It basically covers the existing hook & loop with a folded insert which contains a zipper in the middle. It also has loop lining the inside area, so if you had a lined pocket and used it to attach cards or something with a hook backing this will allow that to still work.
Most chest rigs, plate carriers and shoulder bags have large document/map pockets which are held closed by hook & loop along the opening of the pocket. Everyone knows that hook & loop is great for alot of things but sometimes you wish that large pocket was a zipper open pocket. Maybe its because of the noise from opening it, or how salt water can affect how well it stays closed, or how even the best velcro looses its holding ability with time and use. Whatever your reason for wanting a zipper in place of that hook & loop we now have a quick easy solution to make your hook & loop pocket a zipper pocket without having custom work done or sewing it yourself.
BE ADVISED, ANY POCKETS UNDER 5" END UP WITH A VERY SMALL OPENING.
THESE INSERTS ARE CUSTOM MADE TO WHATEVER SIZE YOU NEED. MEASURE THE OPENING OF THE POCKET YOU WANT TO CONVERT, CHOOSE THE SIZE/PRICE GROUP IT FALLS UNDER, AT CHECKOUT PUT THE EXACT LENGTH IN INCHES IN THE NOTES.

To ensure the quality of the gear you are getting is the best possible, our wait time is between 1-3 weeks for all items. exception is certain items may take 8-12 weeks or may have no ETA, and may take longer due to the custom nature of the item or availability of materials. In most cases items will be shipped quickly, the 8-12 weeks is the absolute longest wait time experienced and not the normal shipping time.
We expedite orders for active duty Military and Law Enforcement, which is another reason why our wait times are a bit longer. We appreciate all our customers equally, but we all have to make sacrifices for the people who sacrifice so much for us.
